Jaonang

People keep asking me why I drew this image. Actually I got an inspiration from a headline news one or two weeks ago. It was about one lady who got arrested for calling herself Jaonang which really means a princess in our Northern dialect. Some authority charged her for illegally using that noble title. The news interested me because once I wrote a comedy play about a girl who also called herself Jaonang in order to gain respect and money from other people. So that night while thinking about this strange incident I absentmindedly drew this image. However I must add that the real costume of Jaonang is much more elaborate than my drawing. When I looked at it the morning after, I found out that my Jaonang was quite dowdy comparing to the real one, actually mine looks indeed like a lowly servant in a palace: )
