Now that new year is coming soon, I really wish everyone a very very happy new year. In Thailand this year is a rat year, so I drew this Miss Rat 2008 card for you all.

2007 is an eco-awareness year, so I decided to make my Santa eco too. He changes his uniformal red costume to green eco-friendly fabric and has his long hair cut so that he'd not waste much water on washing it. Also his bag is non-plastic and his toys are eco and his candies are of course ORGANIC!

Dec.5 Fireworks

Dec.5 2007 was King Bhumipol's 80th birthday. So this year the nation celebrates this grand occasion. I was lucky because on that day, there's a rehearsal of Laam Dee at Chitlarda school which was so near to the Nang Learng Horse Racing Ground where they performed this magnificent fireworks. I remember we all went uo to the 4th floor of the building to have a better vision of the display. There were thousands of people down there on the street below us. In this drawing Ob, Ua and Ajarn Sodsai were with me.

First I drew Fiat with paler skin tone and then sent it to him. He texted back " Am I this pinkish white?" So I corrected the mistake and sent him the new version. Hope he's happy now.

Loy Krathong 2007

Event at Chachoeng Sao

This year we're hired to do the performance besides the Bangpakong river in Chachoengsao province. At the end of the show, there was this great fireworks display that was so beautiful and seemed non-stoppable. The fireworks men were on a small boat on the other side of the river. We could easily see the heavy smoke and heard loud noises coming from the small wooden boat. Those people on board were quite brave!
